Does It Really Work?
Apparently the Military diet is supposed to help you lose weight fast. Both the phases are essential for the plan to work. Pro-Military dieters say that it has helped army men lose weight fast and could help you lose 10 pounds in a week. The Diet plan is repeated week on week until you reach your target weight. However, there is no scientific evidence nor any studies to substantiate the same, and the ingredients seem quite unconventional, ice-cream and hot dogs included. It is also quite different from the conventional diet plans which make contain mostly salads and more diverse foods. The Military diet on the other hand doesn’t seem to involve much worry about eating practices. It does not include extra exercises but there is also no snacking in between. It could be a hard diet to keep to and motivation and perseverance will definitely be required.
Final Verdict
Some people who have tried this diet say that it does work like promised. But, it does take a lot of motivation to follow the plan exactly. However, there is no evidence yet that this is a long term solution. This may come across a quick fix but the assumption is that the effects are only short lived and you may start putting on weight very soon after your departure from the diet.
